Jake Hirshman

Biography
Jake Hirshman is an adjunct professor with the Department of Sport Management at the University of Florida, as well as with Seattle University. He currently works for the Arizona Coyotes in corporate partnership sales. Previously, Hirshman worked with the PGA Tour and as a special events coordinator for Major League Baseball. In addition, Hirshman was a former collegiate baseball player and coach. Hirshman is the co-author of “20 Secrets to Success For NCAA Student-Athletes Who Won’t Go Pro” and “LOL, Loss of Logo: What’s Your Next Move?”

Biography
Christine M. Ramos is an adjunct professor with the Department of Sport Management at the University of Florida. Early in her career, Ramos worked and volunteered with the University of Florida Athletic Association, including a role as a marketing intern. Ramos has worked on the Orange Bowl Committee since 2007. She began as a 75th Anniversary coordinator and then worked on sponsorship services and fulfillment as well as in marketing. She is currently the director of marketing for the Orange Bowl Committee.

Biography
Christine Wegner, Ph.D. is a lecturer with the Department of Sport Management at the University of Florida. Her research interests include sport for social change and marginalized populations in sport, particularly the role of organizations and organizing in the formation of identities in and through sport. She has also worked with several local and national non-profit sport organizations, providing program and membership evaluation as a means of strategic programming and fundraising. Dr. Wegner has published in the Journal of Sport Management, the Journal of Leisure Research, and the Journal of Applied Sport Psychology. She is a member of the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM).
