The online Sport Management Certificate is open to people from all professional and academic backgrounds. There are no admission requirements.

Students can register for the full certificate or one course at a time.

Payments can be made by credit card. Tuition includes the cost of textbooks and materials (such as case studies).

Sport Management Certificate Registration

Students have the flexibility to register and pay for the full online Sport Management Certificate in one or two payments.

One payment: Students can register and pay $3,500 for the full certificate and be automatically registered for each course.

Two payments: Students can register for the Sport Management Certificate and split the tuition payment in two parts. The first payment is due by 6 p.m. ET on the published start date of the first course, Revenue Generation in Sport. The second payment is due by 6 p.m. ET on the start date of the second course, Sport Marketing. To take advantage of the two payment options, contact your academic coordinator.

  • Payment 1: $1,500
  • Payment 2: $2,000

Single Course Registration

Students may also choose to take individual courses featured in the online Sport Management Certificate: Revenue Generation in Sport Management, Sport Marketing, or Management and Leadership in Sport. Each course is eight weeks in length. Payment is due by 6 p.m. ET on the start date of the course. Course start dates vary, contact your academic coordinator for more information.

What to expect in the registration process:

  • You’ll complete a registration form.
  • You’ll submit your payment online.
  • You’ll be registered as an official part of the University of Florida!

Classes fill up fast so we encourage you to register early. The final deadline to submit payment is 6 p.m. ET on the published start date of the term.


Refund Policy

Registration Window

Students must complete the registration no later than 6 p.m. ET of the published start date of the term. If registration and payment is not received prior to the deadline, you may decide to register for the next published start date. There are multiple starts in the year, speak to an academic coordinator to learn more.

Change of Start Date

Students may request to change their registration to a future published start date without penalty up until 6 p.m. ET of the first day of the start date. You may continue to delay the start date up to two starts from the original start date; within a one-year timeframe. At that time, you must proceed with the program or you will not be eligible for a refund.

Withdrawals and Refunds

Students who withdraw their registration by 6 p.m. ET on the second business day of the start date of the first course are eligible for a refund.

In the case of extenuating circumstances, exceptions to the withdrawal/refund policy may be made on a case-by-case basis. These may require participants to provide documentation.
